December 4th, 2020 – Philadelphia, PA – Lynnette Clement is an author and publisher who launched her fiction novel, Ardent Grandeur. The book was written in effort to empower, inspire, educate, and encourage more people to read and be their best self. Her motto is that she, “Educates to Elevate,” people in several different topic areas from beauty, relationships, entertainment, education, health and wellness, as well as finances.
As an educator, Clement brings her knowledge, expertise, and experience to the book as well as to the free online magazine, Love Exquisite Magazine, each month as a writing contributor, in addition to providing the opportunity for volunteer editors and volunteer writing contributors to hone in on their critical thinking and writing skills. Her mother, Darlene, is the co-editor of the magazine and the Ardent Grandeur book and her sister, Danette, is the sports columnist for the magazine.
Research has shown that those who read for pleasure have higher levels of self-esteem and a greater ability to cope with difficult situations (Billington, J., 2018). Clement is concerned with the well-being of the whole person. She doesn’t just want people to look good on the outside, she also wants people to be well mentally. She believes that no matter how much someone dresses up, if they do not feel good about themselves on the inside, how they look externally doesn’t really matter.
Reading is a good way to enhance self-esteem, improve academic success, memory, as well as develop better vocabulary and comprehension skills. People are more inclined to read content that they are actually interested in learning more about.
The book Ardent Grandeur is an emotional, jaw-dropping, suspense thrilling, tragic love story about how life decisions can impact people and those around them in a positive and negative way, as well as learning the importance of knowing that life decisions matter more than they think. In effort to make better life decisions, people have to think critically about how they think and behave as well as the causes of their behaviors and get the help that they need to be and do better.
