Flagler Sportfishing Club Announces Catch, Photo & Release (CPR) Tournament

Published by @prwirepro on

December 17th, 2020 – Palm Coast, FL – The Flagler Sportfishing Club is pleased to announce the creation of a Catch, Photo & Release (CPR) Tournament to advance the efforts toward preserving our fish habitat in Flagler County. The CPR Tournament will run for a Calendar year and the more fish submitted and released alive will increase the chances for the angler to win the big prize drawing at the conclusion. The Tournament starts January 1, 2021 and runs through December 31, 2021. All catches must follow FWC Rules and must be submitted through the Club’s application and by using the Club’s Bump Board/measuring device. A picture of the catch is submitted through this same application.

“This is a huge step for our club and in the process will help create an environment of conservation, by releasing fish back to their environment increasing the population of any species. The Club’s anglers have noticed a decrease in the fish population of multiple species through the years and our Club is going to do our part in solving this problem,” said Club President, Chris Christian.

The club has over 500 family members that participate in 12 fishing tournaments a year and all are free to its members.
